Running News & Tidbits

Running-NEWS-and-Tidbits
Hallo everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic first week of June! 🙂

The Brooks Run Happy Tour is coming to Düsseldorf on June 15 and I’ll be there, too. What I love about this race is that there are NO rules. NO entry fee. NO timing. NO registration required! There is only one goal: RUN HAPPY – together. 🙂 I’m loving it!

Find your city below and let’s run between 6 – 10 pm.

Running-News-and-TidbitsAs I understood, the starting point is always a central location. The precise route remains secret until the start. Frankly, I don’t even care. All I want is to have some fun.

If you find your city on the list above and want to participate, then head to the Facebook.com/brooksrunningDE/events and hit the “JOIN” button, so that way you’re on the starter list.

Before I forget, there is one more thing worth mentioning. The first 100 participants at each event will receive a Brooks Run Happy t-shirt for free. Let’s see If I can make it on time. Tell you all about next Tuesday.

So this coming week my training will focus on running as often as possible. This week’s training plan looks something like that:

Monday: Evening BODY PUMP class
Tuesday (I mean today): Evening RUN – at least 15 km
Wednesday: Recovery DAY
Thursday: Early morning easy-recovery RUN
Friday: Afternoon BODY PUMP class
Saturday: Maybe an early morning SWIM
Sunday: Early morning RUN and bike ride for fun

If anyone hates routine, then that’s me. But when it comes to working out, I must admit that I love it, hands down. 🙂

Do you have a training plan? I would love to hear more about it.

Be healthy and happy!

With love, Cris

Hey, Dave. What a crappy weather, but I got used to it. :))) I guess that’s part of the German charm. By the way, I finally posted that promised article. I decided to write a love letter to Brooks. Enjoy the photos and have a lovely weekend you guys! 🙂

Haha well indeed. I’m from mid England so the weather is almost identical anyway! Are you German originally or from elsewhere?

Hey Dave. 🙂 Actually, I’m from Romania, therefore the German weather is not such a common thing. :)) But hey, we can’t have them all.
