New Year’s Resolution

January 1, 2016 by Cris 6 Comments

Happy New Year, my friends!

New Year's Resolution 2016Wanna find out my New Year’s resolution? Here we go 2016!

1. Run 5 marathons and 1 ultra

I know I should have started by writing “Run my first marathon”, but as I’ve already paid the fees for 2 full marathons – Düsseldorf and Berlin and a few other half-marathons, I gotta do it. There is no way back from here.

2. Improve my French and Spanish
Not that my German is perfect – I’m still working on it – however, Spanish and French resonate more with my personality (Greek too!). I guess it’s not so hard to guess why if you take into account my background – remember that I am one of the “vampires with a soul”?! You may call us Romanians. :))

3. Read 25 books
I love reading! And I hope I can keep up with reading at least 2 books per month.

4. Spend some more time with family and loved ones
And I invite you to do the same.

5. Laugh more & enjoy
For this new year, the mainly thing I aim to do is to laugh more and enjoy, to keep my standards high but my level of self-acceptance higher. In other words, to open room for MAGIC!

2016 bring it on, I am SO ready!

I wish you all a magical 2016!
Xoxo, Cris

Dear Cris, Happy New Year! I love your goals, especially the one with the books 🙂 I realized that last year I didn’s spend much time doing my favourite reading. So, I will challenge myself as you did – 25 books for 2016 🙂
